kindergarten science fair project part 4

the twins won 2nd place over all not just for kindergarten but for their entire school!!!

i am so proud of my boys!!! we are setting the bar pretty high for the coming years but i think that is the way it should be!!

i am still on cloud nine!!

the twins did an awesome job on the presentation board! maverick did all the writing that went in the project journal which was about 22 pages! joaquin did all the writing that went on the board!! the wrote out everything even the yellow labels! they were very excited about turning it in!!

so for 7 days the twins measured and changed the water! on the the final day they discovered who's hypothesis was correct!! Drum Roll Please... MAVERICK WINS!!!! his alligator grew to be 21 cubes long!!! joaquin was close, his grew to be 18 cubes long!!

now we have to get our presentation board together and take it to school!!

kindergarten science fair project part 1

so we decided since this is our first project that we would do a joint project. the twins decided they wanted to see what kind of water made them grow the biggest; hot water or cold water?

Maverick's Hypothesis: Hot Water is Best

Joaquin's Hypotheses: Cold Water is Best

we changed the water everyday to keep the water temp the same and measured them everyday too. they have learned to measure with cubes to that is what we used!

the alligators started out as 6 cubes long!!

she is finally standing

bella is finally standing up!!! she is really taking her time getting around to it. she loves that window by the way.

the twins turned six

i really did their party all up this year! the theme was valentines day/candy shop! i made everything from scratch!! decorations, cake, cupcakes, marshmallow pops, all kinds of goodies!! i had to make a valentine piñata because i couldn't find one!! all in all the twins made out like bandits and had a great time. joaquin was super excited because his teacher mrs. dalberg made it to his party!! she is the best!! enjoy the pix!!

friendship/valentine's day

so the boys got to celebrate friendship day on their actual birthday so they were super happy!!

starting from the bottom, there is joaquin with his teacher mrs. dalberg, then there is maverick with his teacher mrs. pady, then there is joaquin with his BFF lorell and then there is maverick with his BFF gracie! notice the little boy Braylen who photo bombed all of my photos in joaquins class!! ha ha

they had tons of fun and tons of sugar!!

maverick went over the rainbow

so i with the help from the best grandmas ever... i found out that a local high school was doing a production of the Wizard of Oz! so we decided to surprise maverick! he was super excited and actually got all teary eyed when Dorothy sang "Somewhere Over The Rainbow"! After the show he got to meet all the characters! i posted the ones of him with his faves!!

he said it was the best day ever!!! i hope he didn't peak too early!! ha ha
