ahh, gingerbread!!

well the boys helped me make gingerbread and they did a great job! it is actually a lot of work but the final product is soooo worth it! here are some pics of us being santa's little helpers! the pic on top is of the finished gingerbread stars!

bella has such a personality. she cracks us up all the time. she is really starting to find her own voice now and man it is LOUD!!!! the boys love her so much.

his vacation...my vacation

steve took off from work for about a week and a half and it was awesome. we are totally done with our christmas shopping and we managed to take the kids to get some pics done. they came out great. i will post some soon.

we took the twins bowling which was so funny. joaquin can bowl like a professional. we had the bumper things on, but apparently they were for steve and me because the boys hit them maybe 4 times. steve and i lost count on how many times we hit it! it was kind if expensive but it was worth it to see the boys do something totally different and do so well at it! maverick says he wants to go rolling again. yep that's right rolling NOT bowling. and i quote " mom, i am pretty sure it's not bowling because that doesn't make sense. we are rolling the ball. i am sure it's called rolling!"

i guess he told me!! ha ha we had a great time!!

just wanted to post some pics of a little project i just finished for the twins. just kind of giving credit where credit is due; to our inspirations for our halloween costumes anyway! hope you like them, i will let you know what the kids think when they wake up!! i am sure they will love coloring a picture of themselves!!

halloween 2010

this halloween was awesome! joaquin was thomas the train and his costume came out better than i expected! maverick was the ultimate peter pan, of course, and bella was the best ballerina we have ever seen. bella stayed indoors with daddy, because it was naptime.

i went with the boys even though i had a broken pinky toe!! i was taking one for the team last night! haha the boys made out like bandits! two bags of candy and they only went one block!

uncle mimi had some games set up for them so they had a blast. on the menu were mummy dogs (kolaches), popcorn balls, candy apples, cupcakes, cookies and bbq! they were so tired! we were so tired!

we celebrated with a witch (grandma), the hunter (uncle mimi), minne mouse (brenda), bat girl (steph), a sweetheart bat (mya), the sumo wrestler (tia kel), woody (logan), and a meerkat (ethan).

i was suppose to be strawberry shortcake, but the costume i ordered a month ago went missing. i was so disappointed but to be honest with my broken toe and the cold that i am still fighting i wasn't in the mood!! i was just really happy that the kids had a great time!

ahhh, sleep!!

my wonderful husband kept all the kids quiet so i could sleep in today!! it was awesome!! i didn't get up until 10; it would've been later but nature was calling. it was also nice because everyone was already feed so i just had to worry about me. i had my quiet breakfast and read the paper.

i have to say even though i totally enjoyed myself. i was totally thrown off the rest of the day. call me crazy but i think i actually missed the chaos. huh… not what i expected.

tomorrow i have a crazy day planned. surprise trip to the zoo with the twins and coco (my dad). then our nephews are coming to stay the night. 4 boys between the ages of 4 and 6. yep i'm asking for it, but i know they are going to have so much fun. bells is going to have a day with grandma (my mother-in-law). she loves it!! i will tell ya how it all goes!!

mom's night out

so i was invited to go see vampire weekend last night and it was awesome. thank goodness i have a husband who understands that i needed a night out. so when the opportunity presented itself he said he could handle the kids for the night. i feel really tired but at the same time refreshed. not sure if that makes sense to anyone but me but oh well.

i forgot what it felt like to be at a concert. dark, smokey, the music so loud you can feel it in your chest and under your feet. it's such an alive feeling... i didn't know i missed it. i told my husband we need to go to a concert soon.

it's been a while

well i am now at a point where i can manage to have a few moments to myself and i choose to blog with that time. mostly because i am a bad napper... so there is no use there. anyway a lot has happened since i last blogged. the biggest change being, now i am a SAHM and we also have a new addition to our family, bella. my old blog was about having twins, this one is going to be about all three, of course!!!

i named my blog "my little movie stars" because all of my kids were kind of named by either movie characters or actors that we love. joaquin river, maverick cole and anabella star.

this is all i have for now, but hopefully its a good start.
