disney on ice:dare to dream

let me start out by saying that both the twins really loved the show, but maverick had is mind blown! starting from the bottom. this is a shot from the "princess and the frog" show. the next one is from cinderella. when they turned a pumpkin into the coach maverick was in tears. he just kept saying "i can't believe my eyes, it's real"!!! too cute! the next pic is from tangled! then of mickey saying goodbye! at the end of the show they brought out all the princesses and the princes. maverick freaked out when ariel and eric came out!! they are his faves! it was a great show. thanks to julie and hillary for an awesome family night out and for making mavericks dream come true!

the pre-show

for their birthday my aunt julie and cousin hillary gave us 4 tickets to Disney On Ice. so when the boys got out of school we arranged for grandma to come babysit bella and we decided to take the kids out to dinner. we ended up at pappasitos and a lady came by and made balloon animals for the boys. joaquin got a crocodile and maverick got a monkey on a tree. they were pretty excited.

after that we headed to reliant stadium and the twins each got to pick something out from the dinsey stuff they were selling. joaquin got maximus the horse from tangled and maverick got a tangled necklace. ha ha we were feeling a bit nostalgic and got a picture with the astrodome.

easter with daddy

since steve had to work all day, we decided to save some confetti filled eggs for dad. actually the twins made some just for him. once we got home we went out in the back yard and started attacking each other. my three guys had a great time. steve picked them up and twirled them around til they just couldn't stand anymore! steve is such a great daddy! bella was totally knocked out by the way. ha ha

easter 2012

well the twins made out like bandits again! the easter bunny came and delivered tons of art supplies and candies. bella had a great time at her grandparents house. not sure what was in her sippy cup but i hope it was juice! haha the next pic is of her and her grandpa hunting for eggs. next you can see her grandparents are always ready to ham it up with the baby! and the last on is of the twins making a mad dash to get some eggs in the easter egg hunt!!

i was on my own this easter since steve had to work. we had easter fun at my in-laws house and then headed to tomball to my cousins house. she hosted easter so we met up with my parents over there. i went upstairs to change the baby and dropped the camera on her bed which was in bella's diaper bag. i sent my brother to look for it and even told him to check the bed and he said it wasn't there. needless to say i didnt take any photos at my cousins house and it was too mad because she had it all done up for the kids.

i had to change bella again before we left and sure enough my camera was right there on the bed the whole time. my brother ended up looking pretty crazy. we had a great easter but by the time i made it home i was pooped out!!!

their first field trip

The twins had their first field trip and they had a great time. they were both totally excited because they got to ride a school bus for the first time. they went to see a play based on a children's book called "How I Became A Pirate" and then we were supposed to have lunch at a park but it was raining like crazy and had to settle for a picnic in their classroom which was super fun!!

i think the bus ride blew their minds more than anything!! ha ha they were really good and i was a chaperone for about 6 other little boys!! it was a lot of fun!! stay tuned for super kids day!! that is going on in may!
