Halloween 2012

bella was really into halloween this year. they are all at a fun age right now where they are up for anything and nothing lame or boring yet.

so we got a visit from our awesome friends from colorado.

 as you can see maverick LOVES demitria.

joaquin now thinks Jack is the coolest builder and also thinks i am lame

because i can't speak "pirate" like jack does. THANKS JACK!!!!

my little texans

we all have a touch of texans fever around here so we decided to have a little photo fun in the backyard. the cool texans logo was made by my awesome father in law.

maverick and bella decided they wanted to have a pony photo shoot!

 this pony is vintage and used to be my absolute favorite.

i always thought her green hair was so cool!

 this unicorn with blue hair was also one of  mine.

she is also from my collection. i liked her because her body is fuzzy not hard plastic.

attack of the alien robot

joaquin was playing quietly all by himself with his toys and i wanted to get a few pictures to show him how cool all his toys looked from a new perspective and he thought it was really cool. so we are planning to shoot a "movie" with his toys on our christmas break!

he is such a creative kid! hope you like the pix!

the first day of cool weather 2012

it was the beginning of october and to our family the cool weather means its time to spend the day outside. we headed over to grandma and grandpa's to take advantage of the long driveway and huge yard. the kids had a great time as you can see smiles all around,

bella has a thing for turtles. not sure where it came from but she loves them.

this one here is "daddy turtle" and joaquin gave it to her.

she loves him and takes it where ever she goes!

First Day of 1st Grade

i cannot believe that they have started the 1st grade!

they are getting so big!!

so the twins were looking forward to meeting their teachers and the day was finally upon them.

beach day

so one of our activities for the summer was to have a beach day.

we had a great time and all 3 kids really loved it!!

 the kids were all brave going into the waves.

 joaquin thought it was the coolest thing to be flying a kite that high!

 maverick was scared it was going to come down and hit someone!

then we stopped to take a few pictures by this mural because the kids all thought it was soooooo cooool! this is them acting like it was attacking them. when i asked joaquin why he wasn't screaming, he said because sharks attack people that splash and act crazy, and if i ever see a real shark in the water i am gonna have to act cool!  haa haa
