time is passing me by

here is a more recent pic of bella!! she is this baby all of the time. we are so blessed to have her. she is so easy going. she cracks us up all the time. she already says mama!!

as you can see the boys are super excited about playing with their remote controlled cars they got from grandma and grandpa!!

santa comes through!!

well i am finally getting around to posting some live action from christmas morning. maverick wrote a letter to santa asking for a wizard of oz glinda doll and joaquin asked santa for a shark pillow! sounds easy for "santa" right?? well this video makes it all worth it for "santa"... i think!!

check out joaquin's sounds of excitement. incase you can't make it out, for some reason he starts quoting a cell phone commercial where this kids says over and over again "it's $9.99 sucka!" i am not sure why joaquin is saying it but it's hilarious!!! classic christmas moment!

twin cam

so one of the gifts the twins got this year was a kid digital camera. at first i was thinking this was not a good idea, but the cam is pretty durable! what i thought was funny was seeing the things they thought were worthy of snapshot!! here are a couple of pix so you get the idea of what i mean.

the top pic is of joaquin's shark. he said he wanted a picture of "Jaws" attacking him!! pretty good, i think!

the next is of maverick cole snapping a pic of dorthey's ruby slippers as he is watching the movie! VERY IMPORTANT!!!

the next one is of "Jaws" himself!! santa brought him this and he loves it! it's was actually way bigger than "santa" thought it was going to be but joaquin loved it, of course!!

the next one is of maverick cole and snow white! sorry demitria this is going to have to hold him over til we see you guys again!! ha ha to the right of maverick you can see some of the dwarfs. yep i found her and all seven dwarfs at a resale shop here in spring. what can i say it was meant for him to have those!

the last pic is of joaquin and his monster truck. this thing is pretty big and has headlights that work and makes all kinds of noise, which he loves. also a resale shop find! santa was in my corner this year and helped me find some really cool stuff for the twins.

ahh, gingerbread!!

well the boys helped me make gingerbread and they did a great job! it is actually a lot of work but the final product is soooo worth it! here are some pics of us being santa's little helpers! the pic on top is of the finished gingerbread stars!

bella has such a personality. she cracks us up all the time. she is really starting to find her own voice now and man it is LOUD!!!! the boys love her so much.

his vacation...my vacation

steve took off from work for about a week and a half and it was awesome. we are totally done with our christmas shopping and we managed to take the kids to get some pics done. they came out great. i will post some soon.

we took the twins bowling which was so funny. joaquin can bowl like a professional. we had the bumper things on, but apparently they were for steve and me because the boys hit them maybe 4 times. steve and i lost count on how many times we hit it! it was kind if expensive but it was worth it to see the boys do something totally different and do so well at it! maverick says he wants to go rolling again. yep that's right rolling NOT bowling. and i quote " mom, i am pretty sure it's not bowling because that doesn't make sense. we are rolling the ball. i am sure it's called rolling!"

i guess he told me!! ha ha we had a great time!!
